اولین جشنواره فیلم دانانگ ویتنام به کار خود پایان داد و فیلم سینمایی «جنگ جهانی سوم» ساخته هومن سیدی، جایزه ویژه هیات داوران و جایزه بهترین بازیگر برای محسن تنابنده را به خود اختصاص داد.
نوید نصرتی بازیگر این فیلم، در این رویداد حاضر بود و جوایز فیلم را دریافت کرد.
بنا بر اعلام سینه ایران، این سی و ششمین حضور بین‌المللی فیلم «جنگ جهانی سوم» و هجدهمین جایزه بین‌المللی آن است. محسن تنابنده نیز پنجمین جایزه بین‌المللی خود را برای بازی در این فیلم دریافت کرد.
این فیلم پس از حضور موفق در جشنواره ونیز و کسب دو جایزه بهترین فیلم و بازیگر بخش افق‌ها، در سی و پنجمین دوره جشنواره بین‌المللی فیلم توکیو، هشتمین دوره جشنواره فیلم جهان آسیا در لس‌آنجلس و جشنواره فیلم استکهلم سوئد نیز حضور موفقی داشت. همچنین در فهرست فیلم‌های جشنواره پالم اسپرینگز ۲۰۲۳ قرار گرفت و اخیرا هم سه جایزه اصلی بهترین فیلم، کارگردانی و بازیگر مرد (محسن تنابنده) را از جشنواره فیلم بلگراد در کشور صربستان دریافت کرد. این فیلم از سی و هفتمین جشنواره فیلم فریبورگ سوییس نیز جایزه ویژه هیات داوران مسابقه اصلی و نیز تقدیرنامه هیات داوران جوان را کسب کرد و اخیرا جایزه بهترین فیلم جشنواره استانبول و جایزه بهترین فیلم و بازیگر مرد نوزدهمین جشنواره فیلم «فانتاسپوآ» برزیل را نیز دریافت کرده است.
«جنگ جهانی سوم»، ششمین فیلم بلند هومن سیدی پس از «آفریقا»، «سیزده»، «اعترافات ذهن خطرناک من»، «خشم و هیاهو» و «مغزهای کوچک زنگ‌زده» است و روایت «شکیب» یک کارگر روزمزد بی‌خانمان (با بازی محسن تنابنده) است که هرگز نتوانسته با از دست دادن همسر و پسرش در زلزله سال‌ها پیش کنار بیاید. در طی چند سال گذشته، او با یک زن کر و لال، به نام لادن رابطه برقرار کرده است.
